DC04 Steel
DC04 is a high-quality deep-drawing cold-rolled steel known for its excellent formability and surface quality. It is commonly used in automotive body panels due to its high ductility and smooth finish, which makes it ideal for precision shaping and painting. This steel offers a balance of strength and flexibility, ensuring durability while maintaining ease of fabrication.
DC06 Steel
DC06 is an ultra-deep-drawing cold-rolled steel with even higher formability than DC04. It is specifically designed for complex shaping processes that require extreme precision without compromising structural integrity. This steel is widely used in the automotive industry for producing high-precision body components that demand superior surface quality and resistance to deformation.
EN AW-5182 Aluminum Alloy
EN AW-5182 is a high-strength aluminum-magnesium alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, and formability. It is widely used in the automotive industry, particularly for body panels and structural components, due to its combination of lightweight properties and durability.
NEW CHASSIS
High-durability S355 J2+N carbon steel – Legs made from 3mm thick steel. Outriggers and cross members produced with 3mm to 8mm-thick material.
Laser & CNC press brake – All chassis elements are laser cut and shaped with CNC press brake.Legs are welded from four parts. Elements that require extra strength use thicker steel, not lamination!
Additional inspection holes – in the legs and all crossmembers so the chassis can be washed inside. Perfect for additional wax protection. Mud-accumulating points kept to a minimum.
All chassis are ready for the wiring loom and equipped with a pulling rope.
Hot dip galvanization – high-quality coating which achieves a most durable finish.
Construction designed from the beginning for hot dip galvanization with appropriate size holes and flow ways.

Multi-Stage Body Painting Process for Pack One – Using NOVOL Products

1. Metal Preparation
Before painting, all body panels are thoroughly cleaned and degreased. Mechanical treatment is applied to remove impurities and oxidation, ensuring optimal adhesion for subsequent coatings.
2. Cathodic Electrodeposition (Kataforeza)
The body undergoes an advanced electrophoretic coating process, providing complete corrosion protection. This method ensures uniform coverage, even in hidden cavities, significantly extending the longevity of the vehicle.
3a. NOVOL STP – Seam Sealing & Underbody Protection
NOVOL STP sealant is applied to all panel joints and seams, creating a flexible and durable barrier that prevents water ingress and rust formation. Additionally, the entire underside of the body is coated with this specialized material to enhance protection against corrosion and mechanical damage.
3b. POLYCOAT – Underbody Coating
For additional durability, the underbody is coated with NOVOL POLYCOAT, a specialized paint designed to resist moisture, road debris, and mechanical wear. This layer acts as a tough, protective shield against harsh environmental conditions.
4. Anti-Corrosion Epoxy Primer (NOVOL Anti-Corrosion Epoxy Primer)
A high-performance NOVOL Anti-Corrosion Epoxy Primer is applied, forming a strong and long-lasting protective layer against oxidation and rust. This primer enhances the adhesion of subsequent coatings while providing additional structural protection.
5. Spot Filler Application (NOVOL Spot Filler Application)
To achieve a smooth and flawless surface, NOVOL Spot Filler is used to correct minor imperfections. This step ensures that all surfaces are perfectly even, preventing any irregularities in the final paint application.
6. Primer (NOVOL Acrylic Primer)
A high-build NOVOL Acrylic Primer is applied to create a solid and uniform base for the topcoat. This primer further enhances paint adhesion and helps achieve a high-quality, even finish.
7. Base Coat (NOVOL SPECTRAL WAVE 2.0)
The body is coated with NOVOL SPECTRAL WAVE 2.0, a waterborne base coat known for its deep color saturation, excellent coverage, and UV resistance. This ensures a premium automotive finish with long-lasting vibrancy.
8. Clear Coat (NOVOL Clear Coat)
